Many don’t know I have a BS from NCSU in Technology Education. Man of us knew Technology Education as “Shop”. Throughout my education and private industry career I’ve used my past experience as an educator, program developer, curriculum writer and learning facilitator to help me mentor, guide the teams I’ve managed and the clients I’ve served. Some of my notable efforts are listed below.

  • Notable Technical Training Efforts
    • Private Mentoring and Guidance
      • Helped many clients select the proper training courses and certificates.
      • Helped several up and coming IT/Security SME’s in obtaining security certificates and credentials.
      • Provide mentoring and guidance to team members wanting to close knowledge gaps and advance their careers.
      • Career path dialoging and personal development roadmap creation.
    • Security Content, LMS and Systems
      • Create and facilitate table top, red, blue and purple teaming exercises.
      • Facilitated and created the security aspects within the OAR – Operation and Awareness Response Exercises for Norfolk Southern Railroad.
      • Implemented the Learning Management System (LMS), and developed the content for Security Awareness Training Programs.
      • Created the ideas and worked with appropriate team members for video production, messaging and awareness circulation.

      • Created content and facilitated electronics and computer learning at the High School level.
      • Created content and facilitated electronics and computer learning at the Technical College level.
      • Developed the first Computer Repair and Maintenance Program in the State of North Carolina.

        • Develop the same curriculum for state wide technical training consumption within the State of North Carolina.
        • Taught the first teachers to teach the curriculum throughout the state.
      • Created the first Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) course within a Magnet school in North Carolina.
      • Developed and created technical computer curriculum for a technical college.
